My Vocalist story:
I haven’t done a ton of singing, but I have done a bit. As a kid I was in a few children’s choirs at church and such, but I’m not entirely sure that counts. I uploaded a video of myself singing “Part Of Your World” from Little Mermaid on YouTube, which I think has less than 100 views. When I was like fifteen I had the lead role in a play that required me to do that majority of the singing in the show, which apparently I did well. I sing around the house and I belt out songs in my car, but I’m not confident enough in the quality of my voice to do much else.

My performing on stage story:
I’ve been in three plays that I can remember, and I’ve sung in children’s choirs a few times. When I was younger, I was in two plays with bit parts. The first time I was part of a wolf pack in Little Red Riding Hood. The second time I was a flamingo in The Frog Prince. I look awful in fuchsia. The third time I played the titular character in The Little Mermaid, only nobody actually bothered to tell me that was who my character was. It wasn’t Disney’s version, so my character was called Celia. I had the majority of the singing roles and the most time on stage. It was a lot of fun to be the lead, but I was really confused why I was chosen for a singing role. I can carry a tune, but too low and I sound like a bullfrog and too high and I sound like a dying parakeet. I must have done alright though, because I got loads of compliments. Now that I think about it, I’m actually pretty sure I have a video tape of my performance. No idea where, but I’m sure we still have it.
Some good singers, good judging, Frank Nicotero, etc. etc. I would totally have gone just for Simon Cowell and Demi Lovato though.
